Dr. Brooks received her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Ottawa in the field of Kinesiology in 2005. After volunteering for various health care entities and being an avid sports enthusiast and competitive athlete she realized the importance of a well-balanced body and quickly became interested in how to rehabilitate the unhealthy body. Wanting to pursue a career in assisting others to find this balance, Dr. Brooks decided that the field of Chiropractic was the best choice. Having always been intrigued by the health care profession, as well as her personal love for the outdoors and nature influenced her decision by inspiring her to embrace holistic wellness. The philosophy and whole body approach to healing that Chiropractic offers made this profession a perfect fit. Dr. Brooks is a firm believer that a healthy lifestyle and regular chiropractic care can improve the quality of life for everyone.
As a graduate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, Dr. Brooks had the opportunity to be a student intern, working alongside orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, medical doctors and multiple chiropractors at Buffalo Sport and Spine. This experience demonstrated to her that it is very important to work with our health care colleagues in order to offer our patients the best possible care. Furthermore, her time spent in the clinical phase of her degree allowed her to get well acquainted with diverse populations and varied conditions and diseases that our population is so often faced with. In her 10 year practice here in her home city of Kingston, Dr. Brooks has worked hard to promote the chiropractic lifestyle to a plethora of different populations. Her passion to help the community understand the benefits offered by this very diverse profession has been very fulfilling and rewarding. Dr. Stephanie Cerutti
Dr. Stephanie Cerutti has recently joined Limestone City Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Physician, specializing in sports injuries and acute and chronic pain; offering evidence-based services in chiropractic, manual therapy, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Stephanie’s extensive medical background stems from her four years of study in a double major of Physical and Health Education and Life Sciences at Queen’s University; followed by four years at New York Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Stephanie is also fully trained and certified in muscle release techniques such as Active Release Technique® (ART), Graston Technique®, and Kinesio Taping®.
Dr.Stephanie uses manual techniques, chiropractic, and stabilization exercises to improve performance and reduce pain in patients with musculoskeletal disorders of the neck, back and extremities, trauma from motor vehicle accidents, and sports-related injuries. As a marathoner and triathlete, Dr. Stephanie understands the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being. Balance is key, and she is here to assist you obtain your goals.
Born in Brockville and raised in Belleville, Dr. Stephanie recently moved back to Kingston with her husband Jonathan and their 2.5 year old and 4 month old boys, after spending the last 7 years living and working in Connecticut. She is very excited to be back living in and serving the Kingston community.
Registered Massage Therapist
Ania was born in Warsaw, Poland and moved to Ottawa at the age of three. She attended the drama program at Canterbury High School, and completed her BA in Psychology at Carleton University. Her passion for working hands on and helping those in need led her to the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College. She graduated from the program in 2009 with Honors.
Ania has worked at a prenatal and postnatal massage clinic, a holistic wellness centre, and at a physiotherapy clinic. During this time she has gain the confidence and skills in treating a variety of symptoms, disorders and conditions. She is passionate about the body, and enjoy empowering her clients to help them heal.
As of April 2015, Ania has moved her practice to Kingston, Ontario. She is excited to be working alongside a chiropractor, which will expose her to even more learning opportunities. Ania prides herself in being a compassionate therapist. who structures each session around the clients individual needs and preferences. She is welcoming new clients, both male and female, at all stages of life.
Registered Massage Therapist
After obtaining diplomas in Business Studies and Accounting from Humber College, Julia decided to follow her passion for helping others and the human body by pursuing these from a health care perspective. Julia graduated in 2015 from Trillium College in Peterborough and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario. Julia understands that every client has individual needs and goals, and is comfortable treating a wide range of symptoms, disorders and conditions using a variety of techniques. She focuses on the prevention, rehabilitation and maintenance of conditions and injuries.
Julia is skilled in Swedish massage, as well as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy and is constantly expanding her knowledge. She believes that a team effort is the best effort, and works with her clients to achieve optimal results by also offering home care plans that are individualized to ensure that each of her clients can find relief at home as well as in the clinic. Julia will be committed to providing you with a treatment that is unique to your body and will be excited to track your progress as you work together to achieve your goals.
Lexi is the glue that holds the office together. Raised in Kingston, Ontario, she has always worked and studied in fast paced environments. Lexi joined the team in 2017 as the office manager, bringing with her an extensive amount of customer service and property management experience. Passionate about medicine and the health industry, the move to Limestone City Chiropractic was a natural fit. She ensures that daily operations run smoothly at the office by answering client information inquiries, booking appointments and client billing. She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the office! In her free time, Lexi enjoys spending time with her two dachshunds, Waldo and Winnie.
While you wait your turn for your appointment, Mona will usually be making her rounds ensuring all guests are relaxed and have a smile on their faces. Whether its a simple ball toss down the hall or a nice sit on your lap, she knows how to ensure visitors are comfortable before their adjustment or massage.
